Mobile Homes built before 1976 typically have a flat or arched ( bowed) roof. These types of roofs are supposed to be coated every couple of years according to the manufactures recommendations.

Many people think that sealing you roof will prevent leaks but actually roof coating is intended to prevent rust and to provide a reflective coating.
